CLASSROOM RULES

  • Be prompt. Come to class and be in your seat before the bell rings.
  • Be prepared. Have your textbook, notebook, and pen when you come to class.
  • No food, drinks, gum, candy, etc. allowed in class. Any open food must be disposed of in the trash before you enter the classroom. There are ample times to eat in the cafeteria or break area during the school day.
  • No cell phones, iPods, MP3 players or other electronics are permitted in class. Any devices will be confiscated and turned in to the office. Refusal to turn over a cell phone or other device will result in an office referral.
  • Students must use the restrooms between classes, during break or lunch. Otherwise, you will be given 3 passes per 9 weeks to use.  You must have your pass in hand and cannot exceed 3 passes per grading period.
  • Respect yourself, your classmates, and your teacher. This includes paying attention in class, not talking, singing or causing other disruptions during class, keeping your hands and feet to yourself, staying in your seat and cleaning up after yourself.
  • All Banks School rules must be followed. Dress code will be strictly enforced. All other rules as outlined in the Pike County Schools handbook will apply.
